Helping people build & enjoy a safe partnership with their horse is a big part of my job. An overwhelming number of new horse owners give up in the first year. You will be amazed how easy it is to get your horse to do what you want, when you want, once you know how & what to ask for.
I can help by teaching you how to be safe with your horse, how to get respect & control on the ground & then on to safely riding your horse. I firmly believe if you can"t control your horse on the ground (moving feet left, right, forward, and backward w/little effort or getting them to just stand quietly and out of your space) - you probably won't have good control of your horse while you are in the saddle.
Once you gain the confidence to work with your horse, I can teach you how to train your own horse; resulting in a better partnership that will last for years. I can teach you how to get your horse to neck rein, stop on a loose rein, or just to walk, trot or canter and to hold that gait until you cue it to change. Plus a lot more.
Remember a horse is a living, breathing animal that can return to being pushy & hard to work with unless you know how to deal with it. Believe this, they know if you don't know.
