Disclaimer
Before I go any further in writing these articles, tips or quotes, I would like to make it clear that I am not claiming to be the founder of these ideas.
What I write about on this site I have either studied, read, been taught or experienced. Some of which has been made much clearer as I was picking myself up off the ground.
Since we've gotten rid of our tv, I have devoted that time studying all things involving horses. I have read writings from the fathers of horsmanship like Simon, Alexander the Great and Xenophon. I have also read some of the writings of the masters of classical dressage like Albrecht, Von Krane and Olivera. Then, of course there are the modern day western horsemen like Dorrance, Hunt, Roberts, Avila, Parrelli and Anderson. Pavlov too, has some interesting studies. After all he is the founder of classical conditioning, a technique that can be used in all animal training.
When I can, I will give these horsemen (and some scientists) credit where it is due, but sometimes I may not be able to. Only because I may not recall where I learned something I am writing about. By no means do I ever intend to take credit for their work or forget what they have taught me.
Thank you for visiting our web site and please come back soon. We will be updating constantly.
